Colonoscopy

Colonoscopy is a medical procedure performed to examine the inner lining of the large intestine. It involves inserting a flexible tube with a camera and light through the anus. It is commonly done for detecting colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, and other large bowel diseases. Indications for colonoscopy include symptoms like unexplained weight loss, rectal bleeding, altered bowel habits, family history of colon cancer, chronic constipation, etc. Being highly trained, Dr. Chhatbar is capable of performing Colonoscopy with great ease. In cases where abnormalities are identified during colonoscopy, Dr. Kunal Chhatbar recommends appropriate treatments, which can range from medications for inflammation to surgical interventions for conditions like polyps or cancer.
