Hydrocele

Hydrocele is a common condition where fluid accumulates in the sac surrounding the testicle, leading to swelling in the scrotum. Dr. Kunal Chhatbar, a skilled general and laparoscopic surgeon, would recognize that the primary cause of hydrocele is often due to the failure of the body to absorb fluid normally produced within the sac. Common treatments include watchful waiting and use of supportive garments. However, surgical intervention, such as a hydrocelectomy, may be recommended for persistent or large hydroceles.
